(b. 1966-). The state became part of the newly created Republic of South Sudan in 2011

2010- Governor Nyandeng Malek Deliech, Warrap State
Deputy Governor until 2007 and Minister of Education in the state 2007-10. The other main candidate during the elections was another woman. From 2011 the state was part of Southern Sudan.
